The ramen here is top tier! Came here on a Friday and it was packed! If you plan on coming, I'd recommend checking the Yelp waitlist first and trying to put your name down if you can. I got the Tonkatsu ramen and was really impressed! The broth was tasty, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and it was very balanced overall. The portion size is also decent. I am pretty picky about my ramen and really enjoyed this! You can also customize the spice level if you want, but I kept mine at not spicy. I also got the yuzu soda! A bit hefty at $7 - I wouldn't get this again. It was okay - the yuzu flavor was more subtle and there was quite a bit of ice in the drink. In terms of service, it's decent. We got our order taken pretty quickly and the food came on time. The ambiance of this place is very casual and the tables are quite close together. I'd definitely recommend coming here!

I'd heard of this place before but only just recently got around to trying it! They were bustling and busy on a Friday evening but our group of 4 snagged a table at around 6pm. Service was very friendly and helpful for those of us who had never been. I ordered the spicy tantan, which the waitress said was at about a medium spice level. Personally this was a great spice level for me, and I really enjoyed the heat and the kick without feeling overwhelmed or numb. The egg was quite flavorful, definitely a highlight of the dish. Noodles were bouncy and chewy. Portion size was quite filling as well. I think it's worth the try and I would order this dish again! Parking here can be tough; the lot has been packed every time I've visited one of the businesses in the plaza.

Delicious ramen, beautifully presented. We go often in REC. first time here in Cupertino. Service is very good. Very cool drink! Yuzu rainbow soda with a blinking light

This is probably the best flavored ramen broth I have tasted that's comparable ramen nagi if not better in the bay. We ordered tan tan and hakata tonkotsu. I like the tonkotsu broth way better. It is super rich, flavorful, and hits you on in the good spots especially when it's cold. Our orders also came out very fast. Parking could be difficult since the plaza can get extremely busy. There will be a long wait during prime lunch/dinner time, so be sure to join their waitlist beforehand!!

Second time here and it was still good. The wait was long but service was fast. However, parking can be difficulty.

Glad to see that they opened another location! Always a great ramen spot. Super milky and umami rich broth with their chashu so tender and silky! It is simply delicious! It wasn't too salty for me! I love that the portion wasn't too big and filling. The consistency is just right. Definitely try their small plates such as the fried shishito peppers! Way better than the other small bites. It is a bit of a wait as this location is a bit smaller. But it is totally worth it! You join their waitlist and they will call you once your table is ready.

Came here last week for the first time with a few friends. Friend, the place is tucked in behind the Cupertino square and used to be liang's village. With a group of six we were seated with a little bit of a wait but overall got our food pretty quickly after we ordered. I got the chicken ramen and got it extra spicy though it came out more mild than anything. They do have a spice jar at the table where you can add more to your liking, but it adds more of a smoky flavor than a spicy flavor in my opinion . I do love the texture of the noodles and the chicken was really well cooked so was the egg. One thing that I wasn't too big of a fan of is that the broth was a little bit salty for my liking, but that's usual for typical ramen places that I go to. The place is decently sized and very well organized and decorated, but it does get a little loud if it's busy. Overall would recommend this place if you're craving ramen but probably aim for chicken if you are watching your sodium intake. Highly recommend the karage.
